US customs — how we clear it

US Customs (CBP) has strict declaration requirements: ISF (10+2) must be filed 24 hours before sea loading; AMS is filed for air. We use our own customs broker and an experienced declaration team — clearance is steady for general cargo, holds are rare.

Shipments under $800 use Section 321 de minimis (duty-free); higher-value shipments pay duty per HTS code. Either way, on DDP all charges are prepaid by us — the recipient signs and that's it.

Frozen / food categories go through FDA channels; cosmetics / skincare via FDA cosmetic registration; pharmacy via dedicated routes. We have ready solutions for all of these — clients don't need to handle the paperwork.

01 How long does sea freight from China to the US take?

Shenzhen to US West Coast (LA / SF / Seattle) is roughly 25–30 days door-to-door; Shenzhen to US East Coast (NY / DC / Boston) is 28–32 days. Includes declaration, sailing, customs, and last-mile truck. Peak season (Nov–Dec) adds 3–7 days variance.

02 Can I ship China to USA on DDP terms?

Yes — DDP is the default for our US lane. Export clearance, import customs, duties, and last-mile truck are all covered by us. The recipient in the US signs and the package is theirs, no further charges.

03 Will US customs hold or inspect my shipment?

CBP runs spot checks, but our own customs channels mean general-cargo holds are rare. If a hold does happen, we provide the full declaration package and clear it — clients never face customs alone.

04 Can I ship frozen food from China to the US?

Yes. Sausage, frozen dumplings, seafood, meat — all shipped routinely, -18°C cold chain throughout + FDA-channel declaration. LA / NY / SF all delivered.

05 Can you deliver to Amazon FBA warehouses in the US?

Yes — DDP FBA prep is one of our main US-lane services. All FBA fulfillment centers (FTW1 / ONT8 / LGB8 / EWR9 etc.) are routine. Includes appointment, labeling, and declaration.

06 Can you ship to remote states like Hawaii or Alaska?

Yes. Hawaii / Alaska use a dedicated sea line; other remote states (Montana / Wyoming / North Dakota etc.) are trucked with slightly longer transit. The quote will reflect the actual route.
